Barbara B. Lawson became the first president of The Kidney TRUST in February 2007. She was most recently Chief Operating Officer and Senior Project Director at Pangaea Global AIDS Foundation in San Francisco. Barbara, who has an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, previously held senior leadership positions at California State University at Monterey Bay, Marin Community Foundation, and the Pacific Stock Exchange. Seed of Awareness
In honor of World Kidney Day, March 8, 2007, DaVita, Inc. has launched a new campaign titled “Seed of Awareness” benefiting The Kidney TRUST. This campaign directs people to a website where a visitor can plant a virtual seed which produces a virtual flower. For each seed planted, DaVita will donate $1 to the TRUST. |
